this number calls and says they are with medicare but when I answer they hang up

I got a call from them...I quick picked up the phone and said, in my most whispered scary voice: "I'm going to take a vacation & come and find you!"
They never called back! :)

Can't block the number? You should be able to in some way. If it's a landline, try turning off the ringer, or if you must, disconnect the phone. A call blocker may be of some value to you.

Called at 3:18 p.m. on 10/27/15 my unlisted landline. I will block the number, but 250 blocked calls is not enough. I get 5 to 10 of these a day.
