Claimed to be an officer part of an organization asking for donations to keep kids off drugs. Police and fire will never contact via telephone. Asked him to send something in the mail, he refused. Check the FTC, people. Do not donate to telemarketers.

Called @ 6:26 pm 8/31. Left no message. Tried to call back from a land line, recording said "Please call us back on the phone you received our call from". Oh Heck no!!!

Claimed to be calling for the California Police Youth Charities asking me to donate up to $100. Since I am on the do not call list, I asked him how did he get my number? He got upset and stated that he got my number from several databases. He quickly hang up on me after I said I would only support local police charities. Their new slogan... "It's the kids not the cops"
