I have my resume posted on Craigslist, and this is what just got texted to my phone:

"I am Kenneth Wood Got your number from Craigslist I'm working as HIRING MANAGER TO PAVARINI COMPANY Can you work as my persona assistant Assisting me with errands You are paid $700 weekly" [sic]

A: I'm looking for jobs in a city several hundred miles and two states away from California.
B: Googled the number and this guy has sent this missive out to others, one person saying he wanted them to send them $150 and their bank info, then take out a loan for $1200 to pay someone else, then they'd get a deposit of $4700 the next day.

Steer clear of this scammer.

Can the Craig List investigate and stop this scam?

A Mr. Woods called me this morning saying he is the hiring manager from Pavarini Co in need of a personal assistant to make money deposits.  
Last week, he identified himself as a condo owner needing someone to receive keys and make bank deposits thru a paypal account.
