Deb...The same number called my number rambling on about US Treasury and IRS and filing a lawsuit against me....was there a similar msg for you?

Its a scam.  The IRS does not call, they communicate by mail through the US Post office.

The way the scam works, the scammer says you owe a lot of money for past-due taxes or some other nonsense.  You are about to be arrested.  You can avoid arrest if you pay the bill right this second by giving the scammer your credit card number or bank account number.  The scammer then spends all of your money.
