I get these calls all the time. Most of the time the person on the other end can't be understood because they have such an accent. Today, I got one and the woman asked for me when I asked whose calling she said Becky and then hung up. This is suspicious because they call several times a day several times a week. Very Annoying!!! I am on the National Do Not Call as well as the one for my state. I am going to report this number to the FCC and the FTC.

Their calls start about 9:00 a.m. and occur all during the day until 9 p.m. at night, including weekends.  I am on a do not call list but I am still being bombarded with calls from all over.  I have asked these people not to call, but they continue to call.  The caller ID shows them from Tennessee.  They always start the call by "hello" and then my name, which I find to be a ploy many telemarketers use as a trick to get you to say that you are that person.  I am so sick of these calls!!!

They claim to be from the children's cancer network.  If I (man) answer the phone they don't respond, but if my wife does, they ask for donation etc.

Sounds like a scam.  The real Children's Cancer Network states that they do not do phone solicitations.  http://www.childrenscancernetwork.org/

FCC and FTC probably won't be able to do much... the Do not call registry can't block charities according to their website.
