Got numerous calls early to mid March, the first guy said because I had good credit I won a $1000 online shopping spree, and a subscription for 6 magazines. I said I had to go, I was late for an appointment (I was) and he said, I sense you're uncomfortable, what can I do to make you feel better. I found this very strange. I hung up. Later that day I got another call from a similar number, I mentioned that someone called earlier and said there was no record of it. He said the same thing $1000 online shopping and 6 magazines but transfered me to his supervisor who told me I would have to pay $3.85 weekly for the magazines and proceded to ask for my credit card number, I asked what company and for a number where I could call her back, she did give me a 423 number with Mountain Area Communication and said I'd have to call back within 15 minutes, it was the end of the day for them. I didn't call back, but she did. I didn't answer. They tried a few more times on different days, but I never did answer.
Other numbers are 423-317-9594, 423-317-8219
NEVER give your credit card number to anyone that calls you, no matter who they say they are.
