I answered TEXAS 423-466-8468 because I have several neighbors who call me from their cell phones with the TEXAS location in their Caller ID but I didn't recognize the 423 prefix.  There was a connection problem in that the recording kicked in 10 or so seconds after I answered.  It was a recording of a woman's voice that said I was being sued and I should call the area code 423, number 466-8468 immediately.  Area code 423 is located in Eastern Tennessee in the area around Chattanooga.  According to callercomplaints.com, this number is a Spoofed number, meaning it is a decoy of the actual number calling  and no complaints have been made.....yet. One other inquiry was logged.

Sorry folks, I mistakenly entered the prefix as 423.  I wondered why I was the only one to receive this call.  I double checked the number with my phone bill and found the true prefix was 432.  432-466-8468 is the IRS scam where they claim you owe them money and you will be sued which fits the call I received.
