Microsoft does not call re: problems with Windows.

NEVER, EVER let these folk 'get into' your computer (made that mistake once years ago).  Many of these are not JUST scammers... if they get access to your computer, is likely you will be seriously 'hacked', viruses 'planted', and/or identity stolen.

This number was in CID and no message was left.  Thanks for the informative posts y'all.  A blocking I will go.

Got a call from this number today at 12:15 pm, 1:35 pm, and at 2:15 pm. I answered 3rd call and the line was full of static, but i could hear someone introduce themselves really low. I just told them to quit calling my phone and hung up.

It is Thanksgiving, 9:am, message sounded like a boiler room then some one made moaning sounds and hung up. It scared me at first then I googled and thank you all for posting. Now I know it was the microsoft scam. Sick B.....A.... and any other provanities you may wish to add.

Read other comments.  Didn't answer the call, which comes through a few times a week.
