Received a call from this number at 7:28PM Dec 18th, 2008 (Eastern Time)- didn't answer, caller left no voicemail. Checked on here and saw two other people posting within a few hours about calls from the same number. Decided not to bother calling back.

got a call from this number, have never seen it before, they didnt leave a message and when i dialed it back, it was not a working number. hmmmm, anyone know?

I received call from this number about 1/2 hour ago. I did not answer the phone and no message was left. I checked via the internet and it showed the number listed to a Jeff Bender in Collegeville Tennesee. We often receive this type of annoying call, but this was a first from 423-396-9382.

This caller has dialed us several times, without leaving a message.
Perhaps this is an automated service trying to identify possible vistimes for a scam.
Why can't we find out from the phone company that allotted that phone number, who this Jeff Bender in Collegeville Tennessee actually is (cf previous messages)? Isn't there a law against this nonsense? Is there a lawyer out there who can sue the phone company?
