My mother in law just received same call in New York. Saying it was her older  grandson. That he was at Jaisons funeral and was in a car wreck. Needed bail $. Someone needs to legally look into this please.  Charma going to get you !!

called and rang until voicemail came on...phone number looked unfamiliar so I didn't answer.  -- undoubtedly someone trying to SCAM!  Ugh!

the caller   started  calling  me  grandma   saying he  was  my oldest  grandson  i  am  not a  grandma

Call calling like if he was my grandson, but I have no grandsons. When I said who? Who?  Who? He hung up. I knew it was a scam, but I usually answer and then press the star key or a horn.

He called my granmother pretending he was her grandson. He had my grandparents last name. He started a saying he just got back from vacation and started a dialogue. Then stated his friend just passed away amd he was in Ohio. My grandmother asked again what is his last name realizing thjs isnt her grandson then he hung up.
