Understand this from a (Telecom Tech)if you answer the call , it registers to a data base that the number is a live/ working ...its then sold or distributed to other venders to sell you products ...hence .. calls from India selling you Viagra.

Received a call from this number late last night on my cell phone. I don't answer any unknown, unrecognized or unfamiliar numbers. This number is now blocked on my cell phone.
