It has called 6 times yesterday.....day & nightime!

If this is the Ohio Sheriff association why are they calling me in Maryland.

This number has been calling for over two weeks now. I have yet to get a person on the line. I am a MD State Trooper and have objected in the past to the use of these type of phone solicitations by our organizations Troopers Association. I too am on the do not call list and receive 2 - 3 calls a day. I always tell people to let the solicitor know that they only give locally and in person. I can't say it is not a legitamate fund raising call from a company paid to solicite for several different non-profit organizations, but I would never tell someone to give a donation to this type of fund raiser, and I am one of those it is supposed to benefit.

I picked up, and he knew our names. I asked him
who he was, he said Greg, I said "WHO ARE YOU WITH?"
He said "Safety Services" I said " YOU NEED TO TELL
ME WHAT THIS IS IN REGARDS TO IN 10 SECONDS OR LESS
OR I AM DROPPING THIS CALL" To THAT HE REPLIED " YOU
DON:T KNOW WHAT I REPRESENT, I WOULD RATHER JUST CALL YOU
BACK" I SAID "PLEASE DON'T DO THAT" AND HE HUNG UP ON ME.

Caller phoned from 1-419-474-9385.  When I answered, they hung up.  What's the point?  Are they being paid for the amount of "pick-ups" they receive?  No one said a word after I said hello...they just hung up and I know there was a person on the other end because I heard them say something when hanging up but could not make out what it was because it was so quick and I think they were talking with someone else in the background.  This is too much. I'm on the do not call list and don't understand why I still receive the bogus calls!
