Sounds like some kind of salesman, when I called the number back I got a recording that said this number was no longer in service. I hit redial the last number in so I know I dialed the number that had called me.

Got this call from a loud male, almost irate, tried .to call back, received a recording, homemade, that this number was out of service. Must be a scam. Would like to know how they are getting my phone number.

All they have to do is plumb numbers into a computer or robo dialing machine. However, google your name and number, any place such as spokeo that shows up, make them remove it.

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.
