Called and would not give me her name.........then abruptly hung up.

Two calls, yesterday and today. Caller ID says L. Smith, Springfield MO. Thought it might be someone I know, but wasn't sure, so let  the answering machine pick it up. Caller left no message, so must not have legitimate business with me.

My husband got a call from a woman with a mature voice, "L Smith" only showing a phone number (no area code) of 885-3993.  We suspect this is a new marketing ploy to make the caller id look like a private party instead on a telemarketer.  I suggest you let it go to voicemail or call block her.

Call listed as L. Smith. Has called twice today and another a couple of days ago. Keeps asking for my wife (by our last name) and when she would be available. After asking what business she has with my wife she said she had the wrong number and promptly hung up on me. When I tried to call back, phone rang several times and was picked up and hung up on me again.
