Just as above, pretended to be from Microsoft. When I said I use Linux so it's funny to me that Microsoft called, he said "You sound weird. You sound like a female." I said, "YOU sound weird! You sound like a scammer!" He then threatened that "we can get into your computer. Just wait and see." And hung up.

Caller ID says Parks, Jamey.....it was the old "you have a computer virus" scam.

caller ID says it is from Jamey Parks. The caller said they were Microsoft calling

Just got a call from this number claiming to be Microsoft.  Very convincing.  Stopped talking with them when they asked me to allow them to access my computer.  Caller ID does say from Jamey Parks.  Did report this to Microsoft.

Caller in a heavy accent said hold and then hung up.  Gave no identification.

Says  Parks Jamey on caller ID.  I knew it was a scam b/c I have had this happen before and almost fell for it.
I told them I was calling the FBI and they hung up.   Good to confirm via this webpage on the other comments - thank you!
