I just called this company (National Debt Recovery) and the person I talked to (T.J.) was really shady. He was really unwilling to give out information about the company. I asked if this company was in connection with FDR Limited or ACRM (two other debt recovery companies that are threatening to sue some person named Lynn Garnett) and he said it wasn't. I told him that I have no idea who Lynn Garnett is and he got really defensive and told me that they would get an investigator to check my account. I told him to go ahead and do that and he quickly hung up. I have no ties to debt collection agencies and these people keep calling and leaving the same message.

This literally just happened to me. Needless to say I was confused, mostly because I'm 17 years old and have no debt.

I'm having the exact same issue. These guys keep calling, I have no debt there looking for some guy name dwain. They were really rude, upon further investigation they are linked with fdr and acrm. They keep calling my friends say change your number I rather just waste there resources and time at this point. There ruthless and arrogant they won't listen, I've told them many time I'm not dwain. At this point I'm considering going to court for harassment.

416 238 2238 just called me. I didn't know the number (other than the Toronto area code) so I ignored it and waited for a message. The message was a woman named Janice asking for Joseph. She said it was urgent and she has left multiple messages. It was said in a harsh and aggressive manner which I don't appreciate.

I called the number back and complained and the man I spoke with said they removed my number from a 'list'. Begs the question why a debt collector has a list of numbers. Whatever... If you get a call from these people ignore and block them.
