they call when i'm never home. my parents ask if they can take a messege and the person always hangs up. the caller id shows "st bskt"

The caller ID shows SI BSKT and when asked if they'd like to leave a message he says his name is Dave Grant, and says he'll call back when the person he's looking for is home. He made it sound like he was friends with the person he was looking for.

Cal came in at 5:24 PM. The caller ID shows 416-231-6401 and SI BSKT. We do answer the phone if we do not recognize the caller, so the phone rand until the answering machine kicked in. There was no message.

Is it wheelchair basketball fund raising? Are these guys legit?

Wheelchair Basketball.  They asked for my boss again and I indicated he was in (he really wasn't), but he first wanted to know who is looking for him.  ID'd herself as "Helen" from some wheelchair basketball charity my boss sent some money in to a few years back and they haven't stopped bothering him since.  I told the lady sorry, he's not interested, please stop calling him here.  We'll see if it's over or not...so far my boss is happy I might have beaten them away for him.
