I just got the same exact email!

the scam is they have stolen checks from some person so they send you $2300 or so and you cash the check and they have you wire them $2000 and keep the $300 for your "wages" so that way when the fraud comes thru you are on the hook not them.

I just got an email from him in Mesa Arizona for the job posting for a receptionist same as above. It's a scam

I got the same exact email. I live in the Tampa Bay area. He mailed me a check for $2500... I have been trained to detect counterfeit checks, and so many characteristics of that check are a scam. I emaailed him and confronted him about it. I doubt he'll reply though.
