Unknown and unsolicited call, not answered... they did leave a "Hello, can you hear me?" message on the machine from a loud call center, lots of background noise.

I am on do not call list keep getting calls

Unknown telemarketer, did not leave message.

Checked 800notes as the call came in. Same as others reported. Really silly. I must block 20 unsolicited calls a week. When will the madness end? ....Rhetorical question.

  We got a call from this # too.  It came in on our fax line so, no problem.  Oh well, they must not have wanted to talk to our fax machine.  They couldn't have sold it anything anyway, it's a Real hard sell.  And, they couldn't have scammed it out of ANYthing 'cause everything it has is just "on paper".
  Does everyone here live in this same area, or are they calling all over the country?  I suspect they are just calling in blocks of #'s so they don't have to deal with ANY lists, they just keep calling the next # in their assigned block.  This is a big reason that these kind of calls will never stop.  These TeleMarketer Call Centers (TMCC) call out on cheaper, "outbound-only" lines provided to them by the big Communications Companies (Com. Co.) who make lotsa $$ off the huge amount of calls these TMCC's make.  A lot of these #'s are ones not being used by anyone else anyways. This is also why WE can't call them back and get any answer.

 HHHmmmmm, I wonder, how can we get these Com. Co.'s to put a stop to this from their end.  Boycott maybe?  In the computer world we could DDOS them out of business.  Maybe re-directing (call forwarding) all the harassing calls WE get right back to them at their home office and Customer Service phones might get their attention?  Or we could forward them to our illustrious Congressmen who can't (or Won't) put a  stop these calls to us. This might let "our Representatives" know just how bad this situation has gotten, do in part to Their lack of effective action, and their inability to make Good, Enforceable laws to protect us from these criminals.  ( They CAN however pass laws to try to protect us from spilling hot coffee on ourselves at McDonalds. )  HHhmmm, I'll have to look into this idea a little further, ... any ideas out there?
  Well, every call they make to our fax line is one more unproductive call that COSTS them $$$.  (Geee, Too Bad. L O L ! )  So, Keep calling our Fax lines morons, it works for us here.  And, it keeps you pathetic guys off our regular lines.
