Not a call, but a text:

"Annie Carver invited you to Messenger. Download the app to chat with them:"

Then, it gives two cryptic URLs.  One is for downloading the "app" (most likely virusware/spyware).  The other is for "turning off SMS" (lets them know your number is active, and to keep spamming you).

I forwarded the message to SPAM reporting - 7726.
