These people threatened me with a lawsuit from a 3rd party for something that is 8 years old.  Told me good luck in court and hung up.  I think I will worry about this tomorrow if I have time.

Me too. Obviously they hunt on people that do not understand the statue of limitation regarding debt. I would not worry about it. They will sell the debt off to yet another company for pennies on the dollar.

Called & left a message saying there was a complaint for some man I've never heard of. I've had this number for 9 years. Blocked them.

Another call to add to reject. Left VM saying there is a complaint against my name. Must call some 800 number to find out what the call is about. Blocked

Called my cell during work hours.  When I answered the automated message said that a complaint against me had been filed and to either call a 1-800 # for more info or press 9.  I pressed 9 and was connected with a live rep who told me I had a $1100 debt for a Citibank credit card that I supposedly opened 14 years ago.  I told her that I didn't recognize that information, that debt does not show up on my credit report (which I check regularly) and to mail me any information that they think they have.  I would normally ignore something like this but she did repeat back to me my full social security number so that concerns me.  She eventually hung up on me.  We'll see if I get anything in the mail.
