Got a call from this number along with a string of text messages from Jason Hill also. saying I was guaranteed a position as a personal assistant. I was sent 2 checks, one for like $1400 and the other for $4000. he wanted me to deposit them into my account keep $500 and then get back to him. I called the banks on the checks, and spoke to them confirming what I knew already... one check was a fake and the other check had already been cashed for a totally different amount. When I confronted Mr Hill abou this I got no response. If I had put those checks in my account I would have been responsible for the money. this is a total scam, please be careful and always call the bank that the check is written on to verify it is a good check before you do anything with it.

I received a text from this number and a e-mail from a Donald Brighton in reply to receiving my resume on Craigslist for a personal assistant position. Now you have me worried this guy is a complete phony!

hey!  I got the same message from the same guy with the same phone number!  How the hell did he get my email address when craigslist anonymized emails???

The thing is, I only replied to a craigslist post that didn't use craigslist's email anonymizer.  It's certainly not Donald Brighton's.  Nevertheless, I played along with him and took his offer.  He is supposed to send me a check for $2780.00.  I wad advised to play along and see where this leads to.  It's possible he's using people to cash fake checks and send most of the amount to him, leaving the victim in debt.  Should we report this to the authorities?

I replied to a job listing off of career builder. A guy emailed, then called my number claiming to be Jason Hill with a job opportunity for a personal assistant. He mailed me to checks, one of the for over $4000.00 and the other one for over $1000.00. He told me to deposit the $4000.00 in my personal account, then said to take $500.00 for my first week pay and to hold on to the rest, then he told me to hold on to the check for $1000.00 for a later time. I have both checks, should I report this?

I recieved a email and a call from the same number. He claimed to be Jason Hill and that He had a personal assistant job for me. He also sent me to checks telling me to deposit them, and get back to him as soon as i did. This is wild!!!!!
