"Wells Fargo" was calling about an account that has been inactive for awhile, not sure if true

same as yours, but thick accent couldnt understand detail, never had or used the bank so i wouldn't do anything just block

They called from Wells Fargo Bank to inquire about a check and asked me to verify my birthday and last 4 digits of my social security.

Just happened to me.  Unfortuately, I gave them information - the home mailing address and the Wells Fargo bank branch of the deceased relative's joint account with me.  The account was my joint account with the deceased relative.  The home mailing address is my current address.  Just wondering what they can do with this? Reported this to my Wells Fargo branch. Tried to call the number numerous times - always get a busy signal.  I cannot believe I let my guard down.

Just got a call from this number. Fortunately I didn't answer.  They called at 6 am mountain time which is too early for telemarketing calls.  It rang twice and hung up.  I also tried calling the number back and just got a fast busy signal.
