Getting calls from them 3-5 times a day. When I answer, it hangs up.

These people want to consolidate my student loans. They want me to give them my loan info. so they can see how much i actual owe.  Then they tell me I have to log on to the FASFA site and create new pin number... HA!!  These people are definetly on the blocked call list...SCAM!

This call was from the Lending Club. We received a mailer from them about loan consolidation packages. We applied and were approved. They are a BBB A-rated company (I checked the BBB website)

I got a voicemail from them and turns out it's just Lending Club. I have a loan with them from some credit card debt consolidation I did and actually they are a legit company.  If you don't have debt to consolidate or anything I don't know how/why they are calling but for me it was because of an inquiry I sent in to do some more consolidation.  If you do some research on them, the only people who really take a "risk" with them are the investors.  The number that called me was not the same number the guy said to call him back on, though, so maybe this number is used by other places.
