Called a company phone number asking to verify employment. We never heard of the individual - they keep calling back anyway.
Sounds like a collection agency. Pain in the neck.

They called asking for someone who was not anyone in our household.  When I told them they had the wrong number, they asked if I knew anyone by the name mentioned, or anyone whose names sounded similar to that.  I replied that her request was very unusual considering she dialed the wrong number.  Insisted on helping me get a message to someone I have never heard of.  I hung up.

The number belongs to Client Services Incorporate.  This is them: http://www.clientservices.com/

As it turns out they are a debt collector.  They were after someone whose names does not resemble mine or anyone I know -not even remotely.  They make a point on helping the recipient of the call to pass a message to someone, presumably the person in debt.  

I called back and reached the person who called, and yes they were rude.  I then asked if it was okay to record the call, she said yes, and I did.  Then her tone improved and she connected me to a manager.  The manager confirmed that my telephone number was removed from their database.
