I got just about the exact same message as Florida Girl regarding a jeep I have listed on eBay.

"Kindly get back to me with the full condition and final price of this car, reply to sarahpurccy@gmail.com THANKS"

I replied to them on gmail with a throwaway account to see if it leads anywhere.

Just received similar text message regarding car I have on ebay.
This is such an old scam now !
They can only communicate on text because they are at work or on patrol or some other excuse.

I received a text from this number as well....  Sounded to spooky so I'm staying away from it. How is this a scam though? I've gotten many messages asking for my Paypal info but I never respond. How do they scam you though?
