Scam! Left voice mail. Guy with an Indian accent says the IRS has filed a lawsuit against me and I need to call him right away. It's a scam since the IRS does not file lawsuits and only notifies you of an "action" by registered mail first. They do not contact third parties who then contact you. I know how the IRS works since my wife and I run a CPA firm. I did not call back, but my best guess is this is a phishing scam.

Received same call, scam

This number calls my 14 year old daughters cell phone and says it is irs and she filed fraudulent tax returns! I have called the number back and got nowhere, the guys said he worked for irs. but that was all i got, very frustrated!

Got a call yesterday saying I'm being sued for fraudulent online activity and to call them back. Guy with an Indian accent I think he said his name was Ed
