This number has called me at least once per day and sometimes up to 4 times in one day for te last 2 weeks. I paid $4.95 to a website for a reverse lookup services. The information came back as. (TEST L NEXTIX)and (PHONE TYPE:  Land Line
CARRIER:  Pacific Bell
TIME ZONE:  9:28 AM PST
COUNTY:  SAN FRANCISCO
AVERAGE INCOME:  $54,342
AVERAGE HOME VALUE:  $287,600 )

This is all I got!

Wow! They are calling now. This is a magazine company that I signed up for on the internet  to get a free magazine subscription. I just told them to stop calling and I don't want the MAG anymore.

This is a Philipines based company that called me to confirm that I would like to continue receiving a controlled circulation industry publication (Infostor Magazine).  In my case the confirmation was half a dozen questions...from start to finish the call was less than 90 seconds long.  I wish they would allow on-line renewals so I don't get bothered with phone calls, but in this instance I must admit the process was painless.

Good grief, I did a google search on this San Fransisco (415) number that keeps calling my cell (three or four times a day without leaving a voice mail) on the off-chance it would belong to a vendor or business contact, and found all of these posts!!!

Have you found that answering actually makes it stop?  I've been turning it over to voice mail until today, not that anyone actually leaves a message.

This number called me twice today, twice yesterday, and at least once a day evey day for the past two weeks. They appear to be identity thieves running some sort of scam to collect personal information.
