I checked with stopfraud at blueshieldca and they confirmed that this is a vendor working for Blue Shield. Frankly I found the call had enough odd things to think it was spam. Aside from asking if this was a good number, at the end it asks for an e-mail address. Since Blue Shield already has that information, why would they need to ask? And since when does Blue Shield make appointments? Annoying. Blue Shield says send e-mail to MemberOptOutRequest at blueshieldca.com to stop these.
