I got a call from this number claiming it was from "officer Nikki Johnson from the IRS" she said I needed to call "regarding this issue at hand before they take further action". She ended by saying "goodbye & take care". Since there are two people in this house and she didn't even indicate which one of us this message was for, I will not be calling back. Sounds like a scam to me....especially the "goodbye & take care" part.

Computer generated message from "Lauren Mathews" of the IRS. Scam from the word go. IRS never calls and they would never robo-call.

Got a call from this number (415.408.5002) telling that I had an outstaning balance with the IRS. When I requested addition INFO, the famale person with strong accent started to tell me that there was an out standing warrent for my arrest due to non IRS payment.  i told her that the IRS does not call, they write to you.  I told her to send supporting doc's thru mail and i hang up.  I am glad I found this page!

Got a call from 4154085002 this morning, they left a message saying Legal action would be taking if I do not call them back. Glad I decided to look up the number first before calling back.
