Is this true that I should not answer?? What if my answer machine picks up? Same thing right?

Called and said "uh, yeah, I need to speak with the owner."  Like that is going to happen.

My office has been getting the same phone calls as everyone else from the (415) 375-0930. After being harassed for weeks, I have decided that I am going to say yes I am the owner, and let them string me along for a bit. I am determined to get some sort of information out of these people, and report them! They are completely rude and ignorant.

Same crap...asked me if I was still this address, when i said yes, they hung up.  They do not answer the caller ID number, just the same recording that the rest are getting...press 1....nothing happens.

We receive multiple calls from this number daily.  At first they were just asking for the owner, but they now have the name of one of the higher-ups.  I was told they were from Encore and were calling re: credit/debit accounts.  I told her I would gladly take a message and have the owner call them back (knowing this is a scam).  She stated she would be floating around to all departments today and would have to call us back.  I assured her that the owner of a hospital is busier than she is.
