Received a 'missed call' on my work phone.  They left no message.  Being that my company does not do business in CA, it is very odd.  The name shows up on my caller ID as "Belvedere Ti".

Answered a call from this number. Caller asked for me by my first name. Sounded like a woman who spoke fluent English. When I asked who was calling they said "I'm looking for a [my correct first name] [wrong last name]. I told them they had the wrong number and hung up.

1 Stupid fellow called

Got a call from a fellow with a British dialect asking for a colleague by correct first name. I asked what company he was with and he didn't want to say.  Finally said he was with Storm Wind wanting to connect him with "Connor." I asked if this was a sales call, because my colleague didn't have time for sales calls. He said he couldn't say, but would call back later on. Too many reports on this number with different company names and stories, and we've never heard of them. Probably sales or a scam of some sort.

One of several calls in recent weeks from different numbers in which the caller rings and either hangs up immediately (as was the case here) or calls and goes to voicemail, but leaves no message. Suspect it is a telemarketing call.
