Got the same call from the "IRS".....they must think "I'm Really Stupid".

This must be my lucky day. (3/17/16) This is the third time the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me (9:52AM, 1:22PM & most recently, 4:09PM. Same song & dance, using up a lot of space on my answering machine. The local police said they are calling from out of the USA & there have been a lot of complaints about this scammer. I tried calling them back tonight to give them an earful but they don't answer. This is a bunch of manure!

Calling them back to give them an "ear full" means nothing to them.  They have heard it all.  They don't care since they are nothing but scummy crooks.

IRS Scam:

The IRS does not need to sue anyone.  They send you first class letters delivered by the Post Office.  Several of them.  Ignore those, and they then send certified letters that you need to sign for.  Again delivered by the Post Office.  Ignore those and they simply freeze your bank accounts and anything else you own.  If they can do that, then why would they bother with a court case that might take them years before they get in front of a judge?  They also do not bother arresting people for a few thousand dollars for the same reasons I have already given.

Just got a call regarding the IRS is going to sue me. It's a scam. I called back an spoke with someone whom didn't speak English. And you could tell they were calling from a call center. I didn't give any information to them other than an earful. They just hang up.

I just got a call from this same number. Robo call, saying IRS is filing a suit against me. I rang them back. Obvious call center -- lots of voices in the background. The guy I spoke with confirmed they were with the IRS. I confirmed the number he had called, and he hung up on me.  I don't know whether to be amused or offended.
