ve gotten several of those call also,as I'm searching, I see many others have also, I think I'm going to turn the numbers over to the FCC and see if they can trace them or put a stop to them it certainly is anoying!

also, several other phone #'s as well, 754-484-3851,493-518-7530, 415-358-0679, 426-893-6749, some with a weird man/woman on other end, others just hang up after a few rings. I'm sure scams of some sort

I am going to start an organization to hunt and prosecute these [***],if. Someone does not do someyhing soon and I mean real soon!!!,people are going to take the law into their own hands!!!the bbb sshould be ashamed of themselves,as well as A host of other intities,including the state of where these. Fools are allowed to operate!!!someone please take the law into your own hands!! For gods sake!!!

It is hard to trace the calls because they are not calling from the number shown. The maybe calling from the other side of the planet. That is why it is so hard to stop them.

My wife was just hung up on by the #415-358-0679, after being asked about a recent auto loan application. Caller ID shows San Fransisco, we live in Jersey. I called back and was answered by a man with an accent and lots of music in the background. I told him he hung up on my wife, and wanted to know how he got our #. He asked if I was looking to buy a car. When I told him no, he hung up.
The unfortuanate thing with these calls is that you have to know what carrier they are calling from in order for anything to be done... I will be contacting our carrier in the morning to see if they can assist in the matter. I feel for the gulable and elderly that may fall into this identity stealing trap.
