Really rude recruiter whose tone changed once they found out I had hiring ability. I would never hire anyone represented by them.

This is the Boylston Group (AKA the BOILER ROOM). They also use the name "Cooper Johnson Recruiting" when you keep ignoring them. The place is literally about 40 "recruiters" in the same room cold calling every twitching fish they can find.
