800notes is not affiliated with your callers, we are not calling you either. 800notes is a forum for reporting who calls you and any information you may have about the call to share with other forum users. It is highly doubtful that your callers are reading here also.

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.

called and said nothing has called 4 times in 2 days

Called just now. Caller ID was "Service Provider". The wife answered. Someone wanted to know if we wanted to join the purple heart society. If we had said yes, they would undoubtedly ask for a credit card number. Called number back and received a recorded message saying they were the customer care line for the order of the purple heart. Still sounds fishy.

Call and hang up when answered.

Caller ID said "unavailable", person answered, talked about supporting veterans. Then began to ask for donation. I just said "I do not do this over the phone and hung up." 30 years ago I heard similar pitches and regretted donating because it was a scam. I will help if I am familiar with the organization.
