Keep on getting a message from this number. Says it is the IRS. I need to call back?

Got a similar call. Called back & they had some bogus story of owing tax and said the police were coming to my house to arrest me! LOL!  Clearly a scam - no need to call them.

TOTAL SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   IT IS NOT THE IRS OR ANYONE ASSOCIATED WITH THE IRS!!!!!!!!!!!  DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION OTHER THAN WHERE THEY CAN GO.

Chances are, the phone number that shows on your caller ID is a Skype number.

rcvd call from this guy "peter parker" 3/28/2014.  informed me it was urgent i call him, prblm w my taxes...have not filed yet & as we all kno the irs sends letters, they do not call...especially not on a number not used to file taxes with...geesh

This scam has been on the news in recent months.
