my mom got a text from them yesterday and i had called Immigration 800 number to verify and report the number in case its not connected with them.problem yet to be resolved and will post more info in case its a fraud which sounds like it is

Hi,
A friend of mine received a text from the same number. Sounds like a scam. USCIS scam report line is only open until 6:00PM (presumably Eastern Time) - so haven't been able to contact USCIS yet. Have you heard anything back from USCIS (or ICE - don't know who you called) confirming this is scam?
