scammer ,getting numbers off craigs list ads

Joe, what was the scam? He just contacted me.

This a scammer.. Try to buy my bike that he saw on Craig's list as a surprise promise gift for his son. He want me to send him money through Western Union (MTCN).

"Western Union" -you said "Western Union" Yes, it's a scam. It clearly states on a Western Union form, that Western Union is NEVER to be used for any business transaction. EVER. It is to send money to family, & friends (real ones) NEVER for business, lottery win, tax, advance loan fee, hurt family member (that you cannot confirm), person you met on the internet, a purchase from the internet, nothing! Lawyers don't take it, the DEA doesn't take it, no REAL business takes it. Hear those words? (Western Union!) It's a SCAM.

This guy wants to buy an adjustable bed from me using paypal...should be legit, or?
