i've received a couple of calls from this number but no message. i live in wi so a call from a 415 area code is odd. somebody wants to sell me something i'm guessing.

Caller ID shows this number, and several others, from Focus Research.  Not sure what they are researching, as the caller never leaves a message.  I have been receiving calls from FR via the following numbers:

415-293-5519
415-293-5520
415-293-5526

Never realized my opinion(s) is/are so important as to warrant the number of calls I have been receiving from Focus Research to warrant a total of 8 calls so far.

Have been receiving calls from this (and similar) numbers recently.  Since I do not answer calls from unknown numbers, these calls have gone unanswered and no voice messages were ever left.

Some basic research on Google shows that Focus Research was acquired by Ziff-Davis B2B - publisher of numerous trade magazines - particularly IT related.  Since I'm in IT, and subscribed to several IT publications and downloads through ZD, I can understand why they might be attempting to contact me.  

In the future, I will simply answer the call and politely ask them to remove me from their call lists.  As a reputable firm, I expect Ziff-Davis would be pleased to abide with such a request.

Guys a real jerk, no personality at all, plus he gets names entirely wrong, looking for owner of properties. When told unavailable he will hang up on you. Name is Charlie Adams when you call back on this number. Which I did and left message telling him that he was impolite and if he wants someone to work with him he may consider working on his manners. No name of company came up on call back so he must be working on his own.
