same as those above......stated they were from the IRS and that her name was officer grey, in fact I got 2 of these calls...the same day.......they needed info from me or they would start legal proceedings.........one thing I know....I have no problems with the irs.......and they only contact by mail........losers, get a life.  I called that number back, a female with a heavy accent said leave your information after the tone.

Got two automated phone messages on Saturday, 8/2 from 415-251-9782 (my phone is saying it's from San Francisco/North Bay area), stating they were IRS officer Julie Smith.  Didn't call back because it was a weird automated voice and I figured the IRS doesn't work on Saturdays!  Same "script" as others posted, "time sensitive matter", "call back before any legal allegations are taken against you", ending with "goodbye and take care".  Appears to be a scam.

received same call from robotic call from Julie Smith, purporting to be IRS.   Glad I reviewed this website first.
