Scam, scam, scam. They call saying the taxpayer owes money, and if you respond, they'll keep calling and insisting that they can pay by bank or credit card.

Said it was the internal revenue service and that they were beginning proceedings and I needed to contact them at 415-251-9049. She said I had a warrant out for my arrest and would be arrested within 24 hours. Asking for money to be paid immediately to stop the process. When Iasked her if this is a fraud she got agitated and hung up.

same thing happened to me today! Called the IRS directly and was told it was a scam. The number was 415 251 9049
