Scammers pretending to be IRS.

THese Mo******F***rs just scared the f**K out of me. Dont ever believe them.

This just happened to me.  I called this phony outfit back and was told litigation and jail time was going to happen because of back taxes owed.  I asked for a manager and said their threats of going to jail made no sense, and then they hung up.  I then found this website identifying the number as an IRS scam.  I wish I had checked this before calling them back.  My local police would not take a report b/c I did not pay money, but they said you can submit a report to the IRS at :  www.treasury.gov/tigta/contact_report_scam.shtml     I just submitted a report -- if this happened to you please report it so they can be stopped!

I have been receiving calls from this number all week! Three days ago I spoke with someone who informed me there was an IRS claim against my return. After trying to confirm that this was legit and refusing to give any new information the caller said it must be a clerical error...don't worry. Today I had an automated voice message from Officer Heather Gray instructing me to call this number immediately or grave consequences could result! An Officer Chan answered obviously in a call center. Again trying to obtain personal information. I indicated I believed it to be a fraudulent file and he turned menacing. Telling me a warrant was issued for my arrest he stated I broke three federal tax laws and could serve up to two tears in jail! He told me to hire a lawyer to which Imade a sarcastic remark and he hung up on me. Terrified I called my husband, a lawyer & the local police. Everyone believed it to be a scam!!! I have posted a warning on social media and will also contact the IRS fraud division.
