Caller made 3 calls and left 2 messages.  Male voice with strong accent, possible India or Malaysia.  Claimed to be from IRS and must call them back to avoid legal consequences for tax payments.  Tried to be polite too!  Accent was so bad, it was pathetic, I doubt he would really understand a good conversation in English.  This has to be the most pathetic example of a scam I have ever heard.  The number may be spoofed, I never call back these idiots and always check 800notes.com.  Thanks for being there 800notes!

Before I could even listen to their first message, they called my cell phone immediately after the first call (then i blocked them on my phone!!).

A man with a thick accent claimed to have legal claims against me.  It was hard to hear whatever he was saying from all the background noise (which seemed to be a bunch of other people making their own scam calls).

Call from Ignacio CA 415-251-7090 but when I asked for their number they gave 415-251-0522. Heavy Indian accents the guy and his supervisor claimed to be from the IRS. Said a charge has been made against you by the IRS.

Scammers pure and simple. I gave them some run around and then told them they were scammers and hung up on them.

The IRS will never call you like this.

got the same call for 415-251-7090...could not understand cpmmpletely but he was from IRS (haha).  does anybody know what end result may be if the call is returned?

I got a call last night, 5:39PM Eastern, caller ID showed California, heavy foreign accent, female claiming to be an IRS agent, I told her yea right and I'm Santa Claus and hung up! She called right back and proceeded to scold me, "What do you think of yourself!" I said, About What? She say's, "I AM AN IRS AGENT AND" I said, B*ll Sh*t, no your not and hung up! They didn't call back. So I Googled the number and brought up this scam that has been going on since at least October last year 2013! Why is our "GOVERNMENT" letting this kind of crap go on without stepping in and arresting these kind of people?
