A man who claimed to be John Baker of the IRS left a voice mail saying I had a discrepancy on my tax records, and "Don't dodge this call, or we will initiate legal action". This call is NOT from IRS, it's a scam.

Some east Indian tried to say he was from the IRS. I asked him the usual questions about what office he was in, his agent ID, and other crap questions. He responded with a bunch of crap answers. So then I asked what county he's in.. he hung up on me!

I got a phone call on Saturday from a man with an heavy eastern accent who informed me that he was with the IRS & was calling about an urgent tax deficiency that had to be addressed today. He then gave me the phone # of his senior officer and instructed us to call him asap to settle the matter.  I informed him that I'd received no notice and told him that the IRS doesn't operate in this matter and that he was a fraud and the call was then ended. This is a scam!

Got a voicemail today stating that they were the Irs. His name was Donald Joewang to call 1-415-251-4089. They had found a mess up in my taxes.  That i need not to disregaurd this message that legal action will be taken. When i call back have w2's information ready!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got a call this morning from someone named James Henderson, claiming he was from the IRS. I was told to call the same phone number to talk to his supervisor as well. Basically, I was told the call was from the IRS. I just ignored the caller because I never received any letter from the government. I don't think the government will just call someone up, just like that!
So, I believe this is a scam!
