Sounds like a scam call. Traced it to a land line in San Francisco and had the same name, Julie Smith

Spoofed number most likely - generally these calls are coming from India and Pakistan. If googling a number shows a real place or business, it is more likely they are a victim of the spoofing as well.

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

spam caller says they are the irs and i need to call them or else

Called and said was Irs,. I told her this was my daughters phone she hung up.

Got the same julie Smith saying to call back at 415-234-9651.  person on other line hung up when i called back.  Definite scam.  Do not call back
