I got a call from this number. It gave me a division # and said not to disregard this message before they take any action against me.  It was a total scam. Even the voice message sounded like a computer generated message. With all the heads up from this site i will not be calling back. Thank you.

Just got a call from this number. Thank you for this posting. I was wondering if it was scam or for real. Yes, all computer generated voices, threatening message... Wish there is a way to stop these people. Thank you for posting and heads up.

I received a mesage from this # this morning saying they were from the IRS and it was urgent to call them back.  I was skeptical, but called back and got some man with a very thick Indian accent and he was on a really bad connection.  He tried to scare the hell out of me by saying I owed $40,000 in back taxes and he needed my info, which I DID NOT give to him.  He also said my drivers license was suspended.  I was definitely freaked out, but realized it had to be a scam.  As soon as I started talking about getting a lawyer he said, "They are very expensive, between 3 and 4 thousand dollars"   I didn't give him anymore info, so he just said, "You'll be hearing from us and have a nice day!"    The name they give on the message is June Smith.  Beware !

I JUST GOT A DETAILED AUTOMATED MESSAGE FROM THIS #: 415-234-9621, AN IRS AGENT, OFFICER JUNE SMITH?
I KNOW THE IRS WOULD SEND A LETTER FIRST BEFORE CONTACTING YOU BY PHONE AND IT WOULD BE A "LIVE" MESSAGE, NOT AUTOMATED. THANK YOU FOR THE INFO ON THIS SITE...I WILL NOT BE RETURNING THIS CALL.

Just got the same exact message left on my home phone as well June Smith From the IRS. Hope no one falls for this. Thanks to all these comments Iwill not be returning this call as well.
