Called my cell and recorded message told me to press 1 for English, 2 for Spanish without identifying themselves. Why would I have to do that?! I just hung up.

Same. Called my cell and recorded message told me to press 1 for English, 2 for Spanish without identifying themselves. Female answered the phone (after pressing 1), and I asked for information. She immediately hung up.

My wife got two of this 'hit 1 or 2'. They are creepy. What do they want? Does this do something to our phone bill? Does this allow them to call Russia or the Philipines on our dime? Any ideas? They are calling for the East Bay, near San Francisco, CA. If I could find them, my bat and I would pay them a visit. Any ideas?
