Got a text message from 1-415-216-3145.  It thanked me for visiting their site (never did and would never give my cell phone number if I had).  It read that I could claim a $50 voucher to my 'favorite store' if I called 1-877-252-0863 or go to www.GetGiftASAP.com Code 1KXJV1.

I am positive this is a scam and angered because I have to pay for incoming text messages!  Am calling my cell phone service provider to see if they will block future messages but now that my number is out there, I'll probably get more.

I was doing surveys online and got the text about $100 gift card to Home Depot from (702)589-0360. It said to enter a code1NW476. never found the site of course.

Don't do it. The scam is they will charge a small shipping fee for your gift card on your credit card but buried in the fine print is authorization to bill your card with negative-option subscriptions behind your back. Negative-option means they keep charging your card every month until you cancel and the scammers make it next to impossible to cancel. Don't do it, there's no free lunch.
