They keep calling and don't leave a message. When you call back you hear music and then they answer saying "Investigations. Do you have a case number?" or they ask "Is this Keenyay Williams?"
All of the workers, male or female, have a black person's voice.
I told them the truth that I've never heard of that person and this has been my phone number for over a year. A man told me he would remove my number from the list but they are still calling me.
If you call with *67 trying to block your number they can still see your number.
When I ask for a supervisor they say they are the supervisor.
Today the caller said he is in Cleveland, Ohio, working for a law firm called Collins and Stearn in San Francisco, CA (found no such company on the internet).
Today I asked for something in writing and they hung up.

Just received a call from a woman claiming to be calling from a law firm and that there was a possible claim of fraud and check fraud  for a payday loan . Told her I knew nothing about it and to send this information in writing so I can review it with my attorney. She put me on hold and after waiting for three minutes, I finally hung up. Suspect this could be a scam and will see if I receive anything. Call was from San Francisco but could have been spoofed.

Received call from a guy claiming to be an investigator(gave no name or who he is representing) but then hung up. Must be a scammer with nothing to do.

Just got call from some investigator(woman) wanting to speak to me but didn;t identify who she was working for. She wanted me to confirm my SSN before going farther but told her no since I have no idea who she is. She then stated that there were two pending fraud charges and said i may get another phone call. If they do call again, I'll ask them to send info in writing as required and stop trying to pull this scam.

Most likely a scam call.  If they won't ID themselves and won't send you anything in writing, or they go around making vague allegations of "charges" against you, you know it's a scam.

Block their calls.  Do not return their calls  and don't give them any information.

There are several of these groups of white-collar criminals working out of call-centers who go around making threatening calls trying to scare people into paying them something.
